Join us for a fun and hands-on six-week introduction to pottery wheel throwing. This course is perfect for beginners or anyone looking to build confidence with the basics of wheel work. You'll learn essential techniques while creating your own beautiful ceramic pieces from start to finish.

Class Structure:

• Week 1 & 2: Master the fundamentals of throwing on the wheel, shaping bowls, cups, and other forms.

• Week 3: Learn trimming techniques to refine and perfect your creations.

• Week 4: Return to the wheel for more throwing practice and skill development.

• Week 5: Focus on trimming your second batch of work for clean, professional results.

• Week 6: Glaze your pieces and discover how to finish them with beautiful colors and textures.

I’ll be there to guide you every step of the way with personalized tips and creative insights. All materials and firing costs are included — just come ready to have fun and get messy!

What to bring:

• Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty

• An apron (optional)

• A 10 lItre Container to store and transport your pieces

• A 5L bucket for slip and used clay to be recycled
